As the head of the Heart of a Horse Foundation I am familiar with scenes of suffering and hope. Last month I was called out on an abuse case in behalf of a horse named Lady. The caller was not the owner but a wonderful individual named Eva whose relation to Lady was her extreme concern about the condition she found her in.
